Employer Advisory Panel (EAP)

We are forming an Employer Advisory Panel comprising dedicated business owners, senior managers, and HR professionals. Your expertise can significantly contribute to refining our services, ensuring they align with industry needs and employer expectations.

As a panel member, you’ll meet quarterly via Zoom to discuss and provide feedback on our initiatives, helping us better prepare individuals for the workforce and small business endeavors. Your role will be vital in bridging the gap between job seekers and employers. This is a volunteer position.

Who are we looking for?

  • Experienced business owners or senior managers.
  • HR professionals with insight into hiring practices.
  • Individuals with a keen understanding of labor market trends.
  • Employers committed to workforce development and training.

Newcomer Advisory Panel (NAP)

We’re forming a Newcomer Advisory Panel, and your insights would be invaluable.

This panel will consist of individuals who have immigrated to Canada within the last ten years. Your experiences and feedback will guide us in creating and refining programs that effectively serve newcomers, assisting them in their journey towards meaningful employment and entrepreneurship.

Participation involves quarterly 90-minute Zoom meetings, where you’ll have the opportunity to share your thoughts and suggestions on our current and future initiatives. This is a volunteer position.

Who are we looking for?

  • New Canadians who’ve immigrated within the last ten years.
  • Individuals familiar with the challenges faced by newcomers.
  • Persons with experience in adapting to Canadian work culture.
  • Newcomers eager to contribute to creating supportive community services.

Formed by individuals who have immigrated to Canada within the last ten years, this panel provides a unique viewpoint on the needs and experiences of newcomers. Their feedback guides the development of programs that assist new Canadians in integrating into the workforce and community. Youth Advisory Panel (YAP)

Your voice is crucial to us, and we invite you to join our Youth Advisory Panel.

This panel is a platform for young adults aged 16 to 30 to influence programs and services that benefit your peers. By sharing your perspectives, you’ll help us tailor our initiatives to better suit the needs and aspirations of young adults in our community.

As a panelist, you’ll participate in quarterly Zoom meetings, contributing ideas and feedback that will directly shape our future activities. This is an excellent opportunity for community service and personal growth. This is a volunteer position.

Who are we looking for?

  • Young adults aged 16 to 30.
  • Individuals with an interest in community service and leadership.
  • Those actively seeking or engaged in career development.
  • Young people with fresh perspectives on educational and employment challenges.
